For the city and the motorway to Casablanca or Agadir, a Mercedes saloon or hatchback is easier to park. For the Tichka pass and the Atlas roads, or for five people with luggage, a Range Rover, Porsche, Volkswagen Touareg or Mercedes G63 gives you more height and more room.
Many of the lanes in the Marrakech medina are too narrow for a car, let alone a large SUV. If you are staying in a riad, find out where the nearest car park is before you arrive.
Prices through the year
Each model has a daily price that changes with the time of year. The table gives the lowest and highest price, and each car page lists the dates. The total also depends on the length of the rental, the insurance package and the options you add.
Deposit and insurance packages
The deposit depends on the model and on the insurance package you choose when booking: the higher the package's daily supplement, the lower the deposit. On the Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic, for example, it goes from 25,000 MAD with no supplement to 7,000 MAD with a supplement of 400 MAD a day.
Pick-up and return
You can collect and return the car at Marrakech-Menara airport or at another airport. A fee applies at each pick-up and return point: Marrakech Airport (RAK): 0 MAD, Agadir Airport (AGA): 300 MAD, Casablanca Airport (CMN): 500 MAD, Rabat-Sale Airport (RBA): 600 MAD, Tanger Airport (TNG): 1,300 MAD.
